Ranks

A wolf’s rank is determined by its experience! View your Account’s Achievements interface to see eight ranks. These are only for show (a means of bragging or boasting rights), and they do not interfere with gameplay or reflect your wolf’s actual age. Ranks cannot be chosen and are instead calculated according to the experience point total of each individual wolf. That’s right ─ this total is per wolf! It is not global or otherwise counted across all of your wolves. In multiplayer, players can see each other’s ranks in the chat box and Pack Stats interface.

Most phones and tablets are very limited on RAM memory. We recommend 1.5 GB of RAM, but some devices have only 1 GB, which means memory is very tight. That's still enough in most cases -- but on some devices, the particular RAM usage of the device means that it does run out of memory at these moments.
If the game crashes on you, try doing this:

Wolfquest

Quest
  1. Make sure you have the latest release. Version 2.7.3p9 (or higher) has a lot of tweaks to reduce or eliminate crashes on low-memory devices. Check your version (in the small print at the bottom of the main menu screen) and go to your app store to get the update if you have an older version.
  2. Shut off the device, wait a minute, then start it up and launch the game. That will make all available RAM available to the game (no other apps will be using any RAM).
  3. In 'Game Settings', choose the 'Fast' quality level.
  4. Switch to Afternoon (time of day) before you finish marking your territory. You can do this by tapping the 'Rest' button (laying down wolf icon), then tapping it again after it changes to ZZZ button, then choosing Afternoon and Sleeping.

Those should reduce or eliminate crashes on any device that can run the game.
